Perfect little stop off while exploring the harbour. The food was on point, served quickly, piping hot, very well presented. The beer was perfect, I has a nice pint of cloudy ipa, the ladies serving were full of life, happy and ready to help and advise. I attended on Tuesday 22nd at about 1pm, the girls on then sould be applauded, and have management say thank you to them for 5* service they gave.

Great location right along the harbour by the lifting bridge, if you get there at the right time you'll get the best views.
Good amount of seating outside and it's pretty nicely decorated with potted plants.
One of our party said his beers were grainy so not sure if the barrel needed changing or the lines needed clearing. Mine was good though.

Food and drink is of a good standard with great views of the bridge opening but despite having a disabled toilet there is no disabled access

Rhys and Rhiannon are the stars that make this place shine. Every time we've visited with our troupe of merry morons they've made our experience truly stellar.
There's a reason we come as often as we can from Yeovil to visit, and that's mostly down to these fine folks running the bar.

Rhys, Rhiannon, you make this place amazing. Great range of drinks, amazing, friendly bar staff that you can have banter with. We come here regularly and it's the nicest pub we come to in the sense of the physical place, staff, atmosphere and drinks. Both Alexes (I think that's their names) from a previous visit too. Never met bar staff so warmly welcoming for people our age.

Went for something to eat at the Anchor on the 21/1/2022 at around 18.45. The place was empty got drinks and sat down to look at menu and order food, food ordered took about 20 minutes for food to arrive and was lovely. Staff okay and helpful. Will definitely eat there again.
