Harvey's Wine Bar And Kitchen

I have just eaten in establishment this evening. When we arrived we had no booking but a young man (who we found out later was the general manager) fitted us in with no problem. The service offered by all the young staff was exceptional and the general manager was organising and also assisting at all times. Myself being in retail management for over 30 years and my wife were extremely impressed by the attitude of such a young team and wish them well in the future. The food was also great.

Food here is amazing, very reasonably priced for the food and drinks Front of house think the lady was called Jenna she was amazing, even made us came back the next day she was absolutely amazing very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us, she helped with any food and drinks that we asked about and couldn’t ask for more. We will definitely be back and recommend to anyone wanting good food with friendly staff also very welcoming.

Perfect. Got seated straight away, great atmosphere, very clean. Good selection on the menu, I went with the 14oz t-bone steak, had it rare, best steak I've ever had. It was perfect. Toilets were clean. Service was great, always checking on us. 5 Stars, couldn't have been happier with it. Only problem I had was that I had to sit on a bench with no back to it, but other than that, it was great!

Stopped by Harvey's on the esplanade today for lunch. Early so not many other customers but that gave the place that extra touch. Olivia was very attentive, and charming. We decided to have the Harvey's salad with prawns. Very good choice and just the right amount. Decor was modern and fresh. All in all a worthwhile and very pleasant way to spend a hot June lunchtime

After seeing alot of recommendations I thought I'd try this place out for dinner with a friend visiting from Southampton and I was not disappointed. From the moment I walked in I got that friendly feeling when the waiter took my booking and showed me to my table. A table with a view overlooking Weymouth beach and seafront. I was given adequate time to choose my drink from the menu before my friends arrived to join me. The food was lovely, the service was outstanding and we will definitely be back again soon. The waiting staff were so polite and friendly, it definitely makes an evening out more enjoyable. ..Now one of my favourite places to eat in Weymouth.

The staff here are on another level of excellence. They reduced me to tears (HAPPY ONES!) just from thoughtfully going out of their way to bring our desert out with a sparkler and ‘happy birthday’ written in something delicious just because I’d mentioned we only got one overnight break from my kids once a year around my birthday and we were here as it’s my birthday tomorrow. The food was EXCEPTIONAL (I can’t recommended the cauliflower starter enough - best thing I’ve eaten out in a long long long time!), and there was incredible live music - it is probably one of the best birthdays I’ve had in years. Thank you so much! Words truly aren’t enough. Best members of staff ever!!!! Without them and the amazing kitchen staff, it would just be a building. Thank you thank you thank you! ❤️❤️❤️

Absolutely wonderful! After having to downsize our wedding party due to covid and cancellations in 2021, we decided to have a small, 'cheap' and cheerful wedding with just parents and sister. Harvey's were excellent and when we made a note of this being our wedding dinner they went the extra mile and decorated our table for us and a small surprise of prosecco made our day. The staff were wonderful and so accommodating for us all. They really have helped make our day special and we felt pampered! Thank you everyone for your wonderful service, especially the lovely waitress who greeted us and arranged our table decor. We thoroughly enjoyed it! We will be back! Mr & Mrs L Xxxx
