We decided to give this place a try today when we know where the chef used to work. We weren't disappointed, lovely calamari to start, followed by seafood linguine and hake fillet, both excellent. Waiting staff polite and attentive, but also gave you space and time to enjoy the food. We will definitely return and really hope this new restaurant succeeds.

Our second visit in as many summers. The scallops were divine, the sea bass superb and the cod outstanding. The chowder soup was good too with the accompanying bread pieces. No wonder they were the Best Seafood Establishment of the year for South in 2019 and 2022! We are looking at a third visit when we are in the Dorset area in the future.

OMG the food here is outstanding. If you love fish then this is the place to go to. The staff are also very friendly and efficient. The chef certainly knows how to cook fish. We had to try dessert and that didn’t disappoint either. We’ll be back next time we are visiting Weymouth

We had one night in Weymouth and luckily chose this place. From the initial email exchange to payment everything was bang on. Great seating outside on one of the warmest days of the year, a shared crab pate to start followed by two perfect fish dishes, skate wing and a pan fried bass, followed by a superb crème brûlée. Great beer and wine and a great decor. Pretty much perfect. All at a very fair price. Oh and I nearly forgot the samphire, like all the vegetables cooked to perfection.

Lovely little, tastefully decorated seafood restaurant across the road from the beautiful weymouth beach. Tables available inside and outside. Standard menu and a specials board to choose from. My scallop starter was so lovely I forgot to take a photo. Whoops. The triple flavour oysters were delicious. Our main courses were nicely presented. I ordered the plaice, samphire and prawns, my husband had cod and belly pork. He enjoyed his meal immensely. I didn't appreciate that plaice is a boney fish that requires some knowledge of what your doing to separate the bones from the fish. Not the restaurants fault. The restaurant manager did advise me on how to finish debonening my plaice before I admitted defeat lol.

Wow, wow, wow!! Stumbled on this sightless incongruous looking seafood shack fronting a period building along the Esplanade today. What a find it was, the food was incredible! Mixed fish Chowder and salt & pepper squid starters were delicious. As was my seafood linguini of the day with masses of prawns and sweet tender clams. My husband opted for the hake with dauphinoise potatoes and truffle mushrooms which he said was outstanding. Not at all surprised by their glowing references now we’re gotten back to add ours. Highly recommend.

Highly recommended. A Google search bought us here, we hadn't intended to visit Weymouth whilst on holiday but wanted to go to a fish restaurant. Well this place was wonderful. Rocked up at lunch time and had a seat outside. The staff were wonderful, very polite and quick service (to the point I jumped they were so rapid!). The food portions were huge and incredibly delicious too. Great place. We'll certainly come back even if you are a 7 hour drive away for us
