Enjoyed a gorgeous lunch here after a wander round the Crinkle Crankle Wall garden, parks and river. Tasty toastie and a beautifully presented cream tea - the home-made scones and chocolate brownies are some of the best we've found for miles around! Lovely friendly service too. Highly recommended.

lovely coffee shop to stop for a refill after a walk. we had two toasties and a cream tea. hot food menu is a bit limited but what we had was good quality, and served efficiently

Charlie’s is an absolutely amazing coffee shop. I visited again on Friday lunchtime with my Grandson and Mother because Charlie’s is such a clean and safe place to eat as they have first class COVID measures in place. All the staff are friendly, polite and nothing is too much trouble for them. We all found just what we wanted to eat from the exciting menu. Our food was very well presented and absolutely delicious. Charlie’s cakes are always fresh and extremely tasty my favourites are her chocolate brownies, the peanut butter and chocolate cake plus her humming bird cake. The fact that the cakes are all homemade makes me keep returning to this gem of a coffee shop. I highly recommend Charlie’s coffee shop.

What an amazing place! I love the breakfasts, they are just something special. The cakes are always amazing and to top it off the staff are friendly happy and always pleased to see you. We even received a donated lemon cake for the brownies! Local businesses are just something special. Thank you xx

A wonderful family run coffee shop. The staff are always polite and conscientious, the food is always absolutely delicious, and all served with a smile! Charlie in particular is so dedicated to her work, and it shows with how far the coffee shop has come on since she opened it. Highly recommended.

I often visit Charlie’s for the lovely atmosphere, delicious coffee and of course the yummy cakes! They always make us feel so welcome and always manage to put a big smile on my toddlers face each time. I would highly recommend!

Charlie’s is a superb little cafe. Amazing breakfasts, lunches, iced lattes, ice cream, delicious cakes and quiche, all home made and delicious
I have been a weekly regular for a number of years now and wouldn’t go anywhere else! Service is next to none and the only place I know that is meticulous when it comes to cleanliness and covid measures, unlike some other coffee shops I could name! My mum and I have felt 100% safe inside since lockdown ended as their attention to detail regarding cleanliness is outstanding. I highly recommend this place, you will not be disappointed.

Stumbled across the cafe and was pleasantly surprised. The food was lovely and fresh and the staff were all very welcoming. Has a lovely atmosphere and beautiful tea sets.
