I've been here easily 20 times in the last four months, if not more, and every meal without fail has been delicious, whether it be breakfast, dinner or Sunday lunch. Their Sunday dinner is the best I've had in a long while and is consistently great. Extra bonus points for being dog friendly! The service is fine, the staff are friendly and polite without being in your face / over the top.

Had a wonderful alpine macaroni with flavours I would not have thought to put together. Only drawback is that when I walked into the cafe on a warm rainy day, it was almost full and it took ten minutes before the steam cleared from my specs and I could read the (excellent) menu. Generally, the best eating place for miles.

The food here is really good, have been for brunch a few times and the portions are huge and the food is really tasty. Sadly the service can be a bit hit and miss. We had booked a table and when we walked in the waitress just looked at us without greeting us. After standing for a while without being acknowledged (there was only 3 other tables occupied so they weren't busy and not knowing what to do I asked her if I should just take a seat and she said yeah wherever (not exactly the warmest of welcomes!). The drinks came but it took a good 40 minutes for the food to arrive, by which time we'd finished the drinks but no-one came to the table to ask if we wanted more. The food really is great and you'd find it hard to find somewhere else in the area with the variety they do for breakfast, just felt the service could be improved.

Absolutely outstanding! We’ve been a few times and loved the food. My family were visiting from Germany and we shared the fondue - it was amazing. Bacon wrapped potatoes are so good dipped in melted cheese! Service was excellent, attentive and very friendly. They’re really good with gluten free requirements too. We’ll definitely return.
