The accommodation is lovely everything you need. The pub has a good selection of beers and is very friendly. The food is excellent had a fantastic evening meal and breakfast was just as good. Already planning to come back.

Love this place. We do a walk along the cinder track to here, which for us is a 6 mile round walk. 3 miles there & a couple of drinks & 3 miles back! Lovely beer garden at the back & outside seating at the front next to the car park. Dog friendly inside & out.

Stayed her for one night we booked one night and decided to go early and have lunch the food was all home cooked and lovely staff were friendly. We were unable to get a family room so we booked a shepherd's hut which looked really good double bed and a sofa bed spotlessly clean toilet outside but close by. The beds I have to say were so uncomatable especially the sofa bed You couldn't sleep on at all Would stay again but only to stay in the actual rooms that looked lovely

Booked for 2 along with our cavapoo for an evening meal. The quality of the rump steak special was outstanding, service was excellent and the atmosphere was nice. A lovely pub that serves quality food. Well done to all at the Windmill. *****

Very nice Pub. Spotlessly clean, well presented. Very friendly staff and good choice of craft beers and ales. Also lovely wood burner ! Much appreciated on a cold day. Just off the Cinder Path cycle track to Whitby and 15 minutes walk from Long Meadow Caravan park at High Hawsker. Perfect. We will return and will definitely have a meal.

What a great find! Our first foray into the "glamping" world and won't be Our last. Can't share a pic of the actual hut as my DD jumped on her bed but the hut was well proportioned with a double bed for us, and a sofa bed for her. Plenty of sockets for device charging, TV, and tea & coffee making facilities. The shared toilet and shower were both very clean. If I had to find a niggle then it would be no bath mat in shower room so floor very wet and slippy but very minor point. the food was delicious both for dinner and breakfast. Quick service and plentiful. Would definitely recommend and return.

We stayed in a hut, didn't realise we had booked a hut lol. It was warm and cosy. We stayed one night with our grandson. Toilet and washing facilities were a minute walk away. Kettle with a bottle of water in hut. Pub did reasonably priced food. Breakfast was excellent value for money. Great location. Lovely colleagues.

We wanted a walking holiday and this location was excellent for the Cinder Track to Robin's Hood Bay and Whitby. Huge bath to soak in. Great breakfast.
