I’m currently visiting Whitby after a long time of being away, and finally bought a ring I’d been hankering after for some time (a silver and carved Whitby jet black rose). The shop is beautiful and the staff are so friendly (I had to pop back in today looking for a velvet choker, and the lady behind the counter called another shop she knows to check if they had one in stock for me).
Very lovely and helpful staff, felt very at ease with them, and all the jewellery is amazing.
It's a gem of a place, fabulous cakes and scones, friendly staff and good service.
We stopped by this lovely little tearoom above the jewellers on a very wet Friday afternoon during the Whitby Goth Weekend. It was busy, but there is ample seating, and it has a nice cosy atmosphere. The ladies who work here are very welcoming and friendly. Their cakes look delicious, and their hot chocolate is to die for. I hope to visit again soon to try the food.
I can't comment on the food as we only stopped by for a hot chocolate, but the tea room is a very well presented little place, just above the jewellers store. It's no doubt a very historic building, but modernised still with hints of old world charm. The drink was excellent, quite reasonably priced too and the jewellery shop below is a must see for anyone visiting Whitby even if you're just browsing. They have possibly the largest piece of Amethyst I've ever seen.
Nice cafe in Whitby, we strolled in during a less busy Sunday for breakfast. Service was nice, food yum and generous portions! Would come again
Lovely tea room. It has a nice, calm feel about it with an old fashioned charm. It is above the jewellery shop part of the building. Close to the famous steps in Whitby it is a good stop off point.
A lovely tearoom, gorgeous cakes, good selection of tea and coffee, staff are friendly and helpful, felt very welcome, nothing was too much trouble. Cheese scones so light and tasty, definitely worth a trip back.
We wanted to make a booking at a cafe on a busy bank holiday weekend, we did the in person when the cafe opened in the morning. We arrived at lunch and we had a nice table near the windows overlooking the steps up the the Abbey. Food was very nice and staff friendly. It was exactly what we wanted. Highly recommend.
Excellent tea rooms hidden above the shop. Good food, great staff open earlier than most other breakfast venues in the area. Situated close to the Abbey steps.
We found this lovely tearoom above the jewellery shop. The staff were wonderful and the food was delicous. Those scones yum. I will definately be going there again. Thank you
Great place with friendly staff and great food. Felt bad we had no change to leave for a tip as it was such good service, so came here to give 5 stars :)
What a fab tea room, so glad we stopped here delicious food, fantastic service hardly anywhere asks now if you would like a pot of extra hot water for tea ! What a delightful place thank you
