Huge pizzas from a huge wood fired oven. Great atmosphere and service. Just been back and it's still just as good. Enormous calzone this time, which was delicious. Crispy and gooey. Love it.
We booked a table on the mezzanine and it was everything you'd expect. Private, romantic and complete. Fantastic service from the staff and awesome food to complete.

I went for the Vegetable Calzone and it was amazing- nice touch also to have green olives inside . Highly recommended ,but do book online to guarantee a table.

Really good food at a very reasonable price, be aware they don't mess around with portion sizes. Enough to feed two on a single plate. We had meatballs, lasagna and a calzone. Friendly staff. A great place all round.
Lovely food, always amazing service and a nice atmosphere. However, I ordered the chips on the side and everything was fine. I am a vegetarian and it wasn’t until
I came back a week later that I was made aware that the chips were not vegetarian. Posting this just so that fellow vegetarians and vegans are aware.
Lively atmosphere, good choice of food & drinks albeit a bit pricey, friendly staff, good service, nice location, quirky restaurant, gave 4* not 5* as could really do with a refurbishment as a bit worn & grubby in places especially the toilets.
Beth was amazing. Very informative and friendly. Lighting over our (top left) corner was over bright (others had told us that prior to our visit). But, Beth was lovely, friendly and very informative and she made our night.
Went for tea here while on a short stay in Whitby, we found it totally by accident and we’re so glad we did.
The food was divine, we had easily the nicest carbonara we’ve ever had and a homemade sea food pizza with more toppings on it than in the ocean, cooked to perfection! The open kitchen reinforces the quality of the food provided.
The atmosphere was super cozy providing a lived in, “hearty” feel without feeling run down or tatty and staff were friendly and welcoming without being overbearing.
The price was slightly on the higher scale, particularly for drinks but well worth the dough for the, well, dough (and carbonara!)
5* and would definitely come here again.

Squeezed us in without a reservation which was appreciated! Food was quick and excellent. Service was attentive, and the food was reasonably priced. Overall - very nice.
It was amazing and the pizza was delicious so was the cheesy garlic bread. I recommend the tiramasu with with ice cream. But just saying the pizza does have onion on it. The waitress treated us wonderfully nice service!
