Fantastic pub which is child & dog friendly & the food is lovely & great price. We return to this pub each time we come to Whitby. Defo worth a visit. Xx

Only came in for lunch, did not stay in the hotel. The food was superb, the portion sizes generous to say the least and the prices were very reasonable. Service with a smile, we will be eating here again next time we are back in Whitby.
Great little pub, we've eaten there a few times and really enjoyed it. Unfortunately the last time we went for a meal (goth w/end) both meals looked as if they had been kept warm for a long time, dried out, burnt round the edges and chips too hard to eat (kept warm too long). Not a great meal this time. Shame.
6 of us stopped for 3 nights, all the staff great. A big thanks to Debbie the landlady who looked after us. Good breakfast & meals. Location near everywhere. Would recommend. Thanks again.

First time in this little pub! Loved every minute of it! So surprised to see them open on Christmas day! All staff were lovely and welcoming, bingo night was brilliant! I will be coming back! Thank you for a wonderful time ☺️
We visited Whitby for the weekend and this was probably our favourite pub. We are not massive drinkers but we were out for the day and really enjoyed the atmosphere in here. We wee gutted we didn't book food here as it looked really nice.
What a great pub to walk into, live music and it was really good, the man can sing for sure. Quick bar service friendly locals. It's a must if passing! We will be back.
Had a cracking night here watching Carl Robinson on the guitar on a Friday night. Very friendly and warm atmosphere with reasonable prices.

Popped in here for our evening meal, very busy and found last table available. Super quick service and meals were exceptional and keenly priced. Will definitely go there again.
A little bit on the edge of town but close to the whale bones. Lovely friendly pub with good basic pub grub and excellent ales. Well worth a visit and rapidly becoming a regular haunt!☺️

Did not stay but went in regularly during my holiday and loved it!

We noticed as we sat down that they served food,ordered 4 bar meals ,they were absolutely spot on and well worth the 6.95 we'd paid for .

First time to Whitby & discovered this little gem on the first night. Food is fantastic & homemade. Portions are large so you certainly won’t leave hungry. Compliments to the chef, he certainly knows how to cook. Staff are all friendly & prices reasonable. We visited here a few times over our weekend break as we enjoyed it that much 👍🏻👍🏻
