Did not stay but went in regularly during my holiday and loved it!

Great little pub, we've eaten there a few times and really enjoyed it. Unfortunately the last time we went for a meal (goth w/end) both meals looked as if they had been kept warm for a long time, dried out, burnt round the edges and chips too hard to eat (kept warm too long). Not a great meal this time. Shame.

We visited Whitby for the weekend and this was probably our favourite pub. We are not massive drinkers but we were out for the day and really enjoyed the atmosphere in here. We wee gutted we didn't book food here as it looked really nice.

Had a cracking night here watching Carl Robinson on the guitar on a Friday night. Very friendly and warm atmosphere with reasonable prices.

6 of us stopped for 3 nights, all the staff great. A big thanks to Debbie the landlady who looked after us. Good breakfast & meals. Location near everywhere. Would recommend. Thanks again.

Only came in for lunch, did not stay in the hotel. The food was superb, the portion sizes generous to say the least and the prices were very reasonable. Service with a smile, we will be eating here again next time we are back in Whitby.
