A gorgeous cafe just a minute away from the hustle and bustle of Whitby. Lovely, friendly family owners. My husband loved his huge portion of carrot cake and the biggest cappuccino! Our daughters were delighted with their hot chocolates with marshmallows and cream. And I had a yummy cheese scone and latte. Charming interior and very helpful staff, all made for an excellent visit. Thank you Ellie's Courtyard Cafe!
Ordered some take away platters on Saturday to be delivered to our home and oh my word they were fantastic.
Fish platter was fresh as you can get including juicy fat tiger prawns, smoked mackerel, smoked salmon, salad, sauces, bread and focaccia that was soft and flavoured and delicious.
Meat platter had Mediterranean meats, cheese, pickles, fruit, salads and bread.
We looked at the boxes delivered and all said we’ll never eat all that but every last scrap was grazed on and devoured and thoroughly enjoyed.
I can’t wait for the next time town is too busy for us to go out so I have another excuse to order again!!!! Thank you it was perfectly brilliant.
The seafood platters from Ellie's were the best meal we had in Whitby.
There was a great selection, not just of seafood, but salad, peppers, olives and breads etc. Everything was lovely and fresh and the platters were large enough to test my big appetite.
Will definitely visit Ellie's again when next in Whitby.
