Mister Chips

We came for tea tonight my wife had prawn salad which looked amazing and plentiful. I had the large cod and chips with mushy peas , never in 53 years have I ever struggled to eat fish n chips. When I say the fish was big I mean BIG , tasted lovely tho . If your planning on going then I'd book , it gets busy. Tho we didn't wait too long for a table, I'd book next time . Reasonable prices for the portions , and presentation was perfect. The staff are friendly n nothing is too much . Currently food comatosed back in our cottage. Definitely one to visit again

Whenever we come to Whitby, and fancy Fish and Chips, we come here. Either eat in or take away, we have never had a bad meal. The food is always cooked great, hot and crispy batter and chips. There isn’t a pool of fat after finishing, and portion sizes are acceptableZ The only negative is when I don’t fancy Fish is the sausages aren’t that good. I wasn’t that impressed with it. We currently nip out on a Friday after work and have a Chippy tea. This place is within an hour of home, and fits the bill. We tend to park outside, I wait in the van and Mrs gets the food. Then drive to somewhere scenic to eat.

Had a takeaway Haddock Supper portion size good. Value for money. Perfect crispy batter. Freshly cooked. Negatives we didn’t realise the skin was on the fish prior to ordering had to pick it off maybe offer option without. It’s a must visit we’ve been coming to Whitby for years and always ate on the other side of the water. This I would say the best so far.
