Whenever we come to Whitby, and fancy Fish and Chips, we come here. Either eat in or take away, we have never had a bad meal.
The food is always cooked great, hot and crispy batter and chips. There isn’t a pool of fat after finishing, and portion sizes are acceptableZ

Negatives we didn’t realise the skin was on the fish prior to ordering had to pick it off maybe offer option without. It’s a must visit we’ve been coming to Whitby for years and always ate on the

Probably one of the best Fish N' Ships in the UK and surely the best one I had so far. Fresh tender codfish perfectly battered and deep fried. 100% recommend.
Lovely food. Honestly the best we have EVER had in Whitby. Much better than papas or the magpie. Prices are fair. Portions are HUGE and absolutely worth every penny. Staff were polite and quick.

We came for tea tonight my wife had prawn salad which looked amazing and plentiful. I had the large cod and chips with mushy peas , never in 53 years have I ever struggled to eat fish n chips. When I say the fish was big I mean BIG , tasted lovely tho . If your planning on going then I'd book ,
Excellent food and service. Husband had scampi and chips far better than magpie. I had salmon salad best I have had for a long time.
We had a wonderful experience at Mister Chips. Food was amazing and the service was great. Would highly recommend them. ❤️👌
