Ye Olde Beehive Inne

We enjoyed our stay. The Beehive Inn was an old fashioned pub that was turned into a cottage b&b. It's a lovely place to stay if you like quiet and there is a bar if you'd like a drink. The rooms are elegant. They serve a lovely cooked breakfast. The couple who own it are very friendly. Just down the road, there is a park & ride which can take you to Whitby 15 to 20 min. There are plenty of lovely places to see on the coast. Just where park & ride is there is a stable restaurant which serves delicious food. This is the perfect place if you like walking and sightseeing. I wouldn't recommend children.

We stayed here for a couple days away. The beehive inn was excellent, made even better by the hosts Keith and Amanda, they were extremely welcoming and full of local knowledge and points of interests. They also cook an excellent breakfast suited to whatever tastes you may have. The room was clean and well kept and the inn itself was lovely, and the location was great, just a few minutes and you're in the centre of Whitby. We will definitely be back at some point.

Just spent a lovely weekend in whitby at The Beehive Inne, excellent hosts in Keith and Mandy not forgetting Rosie the dog too. Food was fabulous, Mandy a great cook, room was spotless, bar convivial and cosy. Keith is a mine of information and hell of a storyteller. Thanks for a great weekend. Bill & Tracey Knowles. 👍😀

Visited Whitby with my Dad and Sister a few months ago and we had our evening meal here as it was close to the holiday home we were staying in. The owners were incredibly friendly and had loads of information to share about the area. The food was beautiful and the whole place was so cosy and peaceful, with a fire burning in the hearth and traditional brass decorations. We had lots of friendly conversation at the bar and we all left feeling really cheerful and full to bursting. If you're looking for tasty food with decent portion sizes and a relaxing, friendly environment then look no further.

In anser to your review Craig platts your right we weren't open just like every one else we to can go on holiday so to give me one star when you didn't even come in side have a drink or eat with us isn't a fair review as I said we to are entitled to a holiday and all I can say is we are sorry you chose the only time we were away to call at the beehive
