Greggs

It's a Gregg's. Reliable quality and good value. If you've never been to a Gregg's before then (a) you should try it for yourself, and ( b) are you from another planet?! If (b) then welcome and you've chosen a good place, because it applies to pretty much any Gregg's anywhere in the country. E'nuff said!!

All in all we do like greggs either for breakfast, lunch, or just a coffee in the after noon.buton this trip to whitby we had lunch, it's a bit crowded down by the chillers otherwise quite a few tables and room to move.the only problem is the strong coffee.the only problem is the strong coffee in most Gregg's

We came to this branch twice during our stay in Whitby. I'd not normally leave a review, but just wanted to praise a member of staff who works there. My partner clocked his name badge as Wayne. He greeted us very warmly, with a huge smile on his face and asked us how we were. Little things like that make a big difference and he's actually the reason we went back the next day. The only reason one star was taken off this review is because both days, our pasties were only just warm. I don't think this is a fault with the staff, but more the rack the pasties are kept on. We still enjoyed them though. Will visit again when next in Whitby. Hoping Wayne will still be there with a smile on his face.
