The food is really good and great value. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Has tables and chairs in the garden and it's great to sit out there in the nice weather

Just stopped by on the off-chance for a evening meal during a journey home from a few days away.
The Bulls Head is a traditional English pub in Whitchurch. The welcome was cheery & friendly, the atmosphere good. Dog friendly. Noticed (but didn't play) darts & pool.
Their menu had the usual tradional pub fayre & plenty of choice of meals, sandwiches, salads & more.
The food was very nice - tasty & well presented, the portions more than adequate & at £28 for two mains, 2 desserts & 2 pints of soft drinks, pretty good value. They were happy to adjust my meal to allow for dietary requirements too.
The facilities were a little dated but very clean. Parking was rather limited but the only negative for us. Would happily call in again. Thanks for looking after us, guys.

Had a great couple of hours here, traditional locals pub with good atmosphere. Great welcome to visitors with lovely pub grub.

Amazing!!! Such a friendly welcoming place. The food was amazing and very reasonable and the staff were lovely how a real pub should be! Thank you so much to the landlord to who helped me and my family when we got stuck getting to our holiday house! Can not fault the place one bit! THANKS!!!

Our first time visiting the bulls head and have to say it was a lovely pub , friendly bar staff and the Sunday roast was excellent in value as well as taste . I couldn't resist having a pudding too a large slice of chocolate fudge cake and ice-cream. We will definitely be back

We where greeted by a lady called Faye she was very friendly and made us feel very welcome the food was excellent the atmosphere was fantastic and the meals wernt to vadly priced either. we will be going again tomorrow in fact this will be our local when on our fishing breaks thankyou

Hosted a medium sized family gathering for my mum's 80th birthday. We were given our own space, plenty of options around food, generous provision, easy to plan with, accommodating and friendly staff, and great value for money.

Booked a table for my 61 birthday while out camping nearby. Chosen this place as had difficulty finding pub that served food and was dog friendly. Lovely friendly staff who welcomed our puppy and ourselves, fabulous food, main and dessert at very reasonable prices. Definitely worth a visit.

Oh my word, the food here is absolutely top notch. I had Haddock, Chips and mushy peas. The chips were the best I've ever tasted, the batter on the fish was beautiful, not too heavy. I will be back later in the year! If you're in the area please check them out!
