This is a lovely pub in the middle of charming countryside. On about 15 occasions when we've eaten here the food has been superb, reasonably priced and piping hot. The 10oz halibut fillet was sensational! One of our favourite places.
A friendly welcome from the staff. The pub was a bit rowdy/noisy. Overall we didn't think the quality matched the higher prices of this pub. The gammon and egg was very oily. The desserts tasted like shop bought.
Expensive for the quality of the some of the food. Steak & ale pie was delicious. but... …
The Olde Jack under new management was amazing. We had a fantastic meal and the service was spot on. Highly recommend.
Just been for lunch for my mums 80th, wonderful food and service! A special mention for the staff who were very happy to cater for my autistic daughter and provided a meal to suit her needs perfectly! Thankyou so much! It made lunch such a pleasurable experience! We will be back thank you again!
