Since the recent take over the pub now feels alive. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the staff are nice too. Yet to try the food but the wine is good :)
Took a party of 17 for a Sunday lunch, food was excellent and amazing for the price. All of our group enjoyed every course.
Service with a smile and very friendly bar staff. Would recommend a visit.

Since Cam has taken over, this place is a fantastic pub, a hidden gem. The Sunday lunch is so good and the cask ales change regularly, reflecting the regional breweries. The sharing platters mid week are great too. A perfect lunchtime or evening venue for something to eat, great service and a good selection of beers.

Kim, my wife, and I visited for lunch today and had a sharing antipasti board. Generous portions, reasonably priced and delicious. The staff were friendly and pleasant and our two dogs were made welcome. Some great beers and lagers.
