The Whitebrook Restaurant - Whitebrook - Photo album

Absolutely delicious meal for our anniversary. It was a huge treat for us given the cost but we thoroughly enjoyed the 7 course meal. The tastes and flavours, and all from locally sources ingredients, we're phenomenal. We have a 7.30 table at were the only guests for a good half an hour which was a
I didn't stay but stopped here when I was lost. The staff were friendly and so kind and helpful. The facilities looked lovely and I will definitely remember this place for future trips. So quiet and comfortable.
Couldn't praise this restaurant enough! The staff there went above and beyond even to the point where one of the gentleman must of overheard me asking my wife about one of the ingredients and took his time to explain in detail what it is ,was honestly the best dining experience we have ever had ! co
Had an amazing stay for my husbands birthday. We have been a number of times over the last 6 years, and it never disappoints. Spectacular food, service, and in the most beautiful setting. A truly wonderful weekend
Fabulous and distinctive restaurant (with rooms) in a hidden nook in the Wye Valley. The stupendous cuisine is the real reason to visit
We had a great stay here. The evening tasting menu was very interesting, unique courses using local produce. The wine matching worked very well. The rooms are comfortable if not overly large. Breakfast was outstanding and the service throughout was very good.
The Whitebook is a fabulous restaurant. We had the five course tasting menu at lunchtime on Sunday. Our children had a delicious three course menu. The whole experience was enjoyable, but the Wye Valley asparagus and Hogget dishes were exceptional.
The whole experience surpassed our expectations. We fully enjoyed it. The evening tasting menu excelled. The words on the menu did not do justice to the experience. The 5 people who variously served us took great trouble to explain the dish, discuss and answer questions. The room was really comforta
We discovered the Whitebrook over 10 years ago, and were delighted to learn soon afterwards, that it was awarded a well-deserved Michelin star. It's difficult to improve on excellence but Chris Harrod and his team manage to get better with each visit. Our most recent stay this month was the pinnacle
This place really surpassed all my expectations. From the road it doesn’t look like anything special, but inside it’s a different story. The service, ambiance & food are simply amazing! I loved hearing how local the food was & the menu was just wow! Such a fun evening doing the tasting menu, highly
This was our 2nd visit at the Whitebrook and it did not disappoint. We went for the dinner tasting menu, overnight stay and breakfast. Such incredible value for what you get, absolute perfection from the quality of foraged/locally sourced seasonal ingredients, innovative menu and impeccable service.
Superb food, interesting wine flight, nice rooms, saw deer from the bedroom.
We spent an enjoyable afternoon sampling the various exceptional courses delivered in impeccable style by the staff who explained the ingredients of each dish. Exceptional
Okay - so I tend to write reviews of places I have really enjoyed or really not enjoyed! This is right up there in the first category! Being taken to The Whitebrook was such a treat - three of us (friends) had a very happy afternoon there enjoying the tasting menu. Superb use of fascinating local
What an incredible little find. Not only was the food superb, with such respect to the local environment, but the waiting staff and the wine pairing was another level. The room, food, wine & staff at this hidden gem are absolutely amazing. Looking forward to my next visit
Incredible…..we enjoyed a really special evening at The Whitebrook. Food is simply brilliant, wine pairing was unreal! Staff are very knowledgable and professional. Our night in the hotel was really lovely too. Great room with lots of special, thoughtful touches.
I recently had the opportunity of dining at The Whitebrook and very much enjoyed my experience. The food was wonderful, and the use of home-grown ingredients including a wide array of vegetables and herbs, as well as local ingredients such as fallow deer and newly arrived Monmouthshire truffles made
My husband and I celebrated my birthday here last weekend. Everything was absolutely faultless from our lovely bedroom to our fantastic tasting menu dinner. Our hosts were extremely knowledgeable, especially about the wine selection and food provenance. What made the evening particularly memorable
Innovative tasting menu. The Orkney scallop dish was particularly noteworthy. We also stayed the night. They serve interesting variations on traditional breakfast items
