It was the perfect cosy pub with lots of seating area. The food was freshly made and delicious …the portions were generous!!

Stopped in for a Sunday lunch. Nice welcoming atmosphere and great food. Service and staff efficient and friendly. Will definitely be going back.

Knocked a star off for having no IPA of any sort on sale despite at least 3 good ones on the drinks menu. Other than that excellent food and service and good veggie options for a pub menu. There are a lot worse ways to spend a cold wet Saturday afternoon. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic anniversary meal! Menu a little different from other places. Very tasty. The main plus point? No Halloween decorations! Many places don't just have the odd pumpkin, they go overboard, and it spoils a nice meal. Highly recommended.

Had a terrific lunch here food was lovely I had a BBQ chicken baguette with salad and chips. The chips were some of the nicest I've ever eaten! Service seemed a little slower than I expected however it was a busy Friday and there only seemed to be a couple waitresses during this time. Not a drastic wait by any means though. Would deffo come here again in a lovely setting too

Called for an early evening meal and I had the steak in ale pie, seasonal vegetables, chips and a jug of gravy, my wife had the salmon, it was delicious, the best home made steak pie I have ever, ever, ever had.
Call a couple of days later to repeat the meal and it was sold out, I was not supposed. I cannot recommend the inn any higher.
