We visited a few weeks ago (Sept 2020). Even though we hadn't booked (recommended!) the staff were very friendly and managed to find a spot for us. You will not beat this bar for selection of drinks!
The pizzas here are delicious and well worth the money. Great atmosphere and good response to the current pandemic - we felt very comfortable. Would definitely return if we are in the area again.

Can’t rate this place highly enough! This area was in need of somewhere like this - food is superb ( Best Pizzas by far ) along with an awesome selection of craft beer.

What a breath of fresh air in Whitehaven the Gin and Beer It, is. A comfortable relaxing atmosphere in which you can enjoy a good selection of craft beers, largers, ciders and a huge selection of gins. Although on this occasion we didn’t eat the platters that were bought out looked amazing. We will definitely be eating here in the future.
Hopefully this venue will enjoy many years of success it is just what Whitehaven needed congratulations and continued good fortune to Dave and Louise
