Coast To Coast

We ate dinner at Coast to Coast last night and the management and staff were fantastic and could not have helped more even though they were very busy. The food is always very nice, we probably eat there once every few weeks, I've only ever had one bad meal in probably over 50 visits, even then it was changed immediately. Last night they put the wrong sauce on and it was changed immediately and without question, we got a complimentary drink. Cannot recommend highly enough. The only small groan is that with a change of menu they have taken off my favourite drink, an old fashioned, please bring that back!

I was pretty pleased with my meal here. The staff were efficient and our order was taken and brought out to us in good time. The food was nice. I had a chicken burger for my main which was good but could have done with more fries on the side as the price was probably at the higher end of what you would want to pay. Had a waffle for pud and certainly can't complain about the portion size of this, however it was a bit hard. Good experience overall but I would say the prices are a bit on the high side and expect a 20% gratuity added on to the bill which should be optional, especially with a table of 3!

My wife and I came here on a child free night and overall it was enjoyable. I ordered the Calamari which was tasty at first but after eating the top bits we got to the bottom and found it was very greasy. Not ideal but I was so hungry that I still ate it. My wife had the meat feast Calzone as her main, she said it wasn't that warm when we got it and enjoyed it despite this. I had the American burger and it was cooked really well. Reasonably priced and the service was really good. Two thumbs up

Lovely setting, restaurant was very quiet during our visit (Thursday Evening @ 18:30) Service was prompt, friendly and efficient. Ordered a speciality G&T - they had run out of Grapefruit, so substituted with Lime without asking. No big deal. Mains were a good portion size, could have been slightly warmer. The fajitas for example, arrived on a sizzle plate but were not sizzling. The waffles were delightful, very tasty and an excellent sized portion. Overall, visit was good. Reminded me of a lower key, quieter TGI Fridays.

I've eaten here a couple of times when home to visit family. Last time was on Christmas Eve. I've always been reasonably impressed. I always expect mediocre chain food in places like this, but the food here has always been a slight notch up from there. Don't me mistaken, it's not food cooked by artisans, but there is an enormous menu of US style food, the portions are big and it's always tasty enough. It's great for big family meals as there's plenty of space and we've always found the staff to be friendly and helpful and very accommodating of young children etc.

Really nice burger and chips and really good (though huge) club sandwich. Onion rings were really good too. Had the pretzels to start and while not at all what we expected, they were very good. Sadly, they serve Pepsi rather than Coke. Service was immaculate - perhaps because the place was fairly quiet at this Saturday lunchtime.

Enjoyable dinner , excellent service and left in a great mood. We booked a large table and the staff were good. Nicely timed for drink refills and the ordering of food. None of the 14 dishes had complaints, all was eaten and we were allowed to sit without being rushed. Food came out looking like the advertised pictures which was a pleasant surprise. All the group would happily go back.
