I drove 15 minutes from my Hotel in Shedfield as this was the nearest KFC and we really fancied it. I read a lot of reviews and was put off to be honest. I then decided to read the latest 5 and they were excellent. I have to say that I have only one word for my whole experience here at 19:15 and that is "Flawless" The male member of staff who took my order and served it was so friendly and respectable. There was one car in front but I was served and on my way within about 3 minutes. I bought a large bucket of different items and all was perfect. I got back to my hotel room 15 minutes later and the food was still hot. It was all very fresh and extremely tasty. I am really glad that I ignored the negative reviews and chose to see for myself. I write a lot of reviews for places and businesses so always try to be fair and unbiased. I definitely recommend this outlet.
today i ordered a chicken with spicy rice and vegetable rice bowl and it was one of the best things i have ever eaten. service was only 30 seconds too, staff was friendly. will come back again
The 1 star reviews are definitely from the 'Whiteley Whingers' as they're known. My experience was rather pleasant, staff very friendly and helpful, my food was ready in minutes. Obviously if the place is busy it'll take longer, I've waited 30 minutes at mc Donald's before, not sure what all the reviews are about. Good hot food. Only improvement I would make would be to bring back the lemon hand wipes.
It's been more than two years, that this KFC has tempted me with their aromatic smell of food when I cycle past with a hungry tummy, on my daily commute from work! Finally gave in today, and popped in. A nice uncrowded place to snack and wind down after a long day at work before heading home. A little brightly lit pit stop, before this weary burnt out worker has to face the cold dark wintry winds again. Great that bicycle parking is provided out front too! :)
Honestly probably the best KFC I've been to. Food wasn't soggy with oil and the staff couldn't be friendlier. Also thanks to the boy for understanding what a Scottish Bank note is!
Compared to when this store first opened its drastically improved on quality of food and order accuracy
This is a totally different experience compared with when it first opened. New management team and new staff have turned this around. Always a warm welcome as if a family business, always speedy and delicious food (and if not an apology and a free drink), always a pleasant and clean atmosphere. What more could you want?
