We were booked in for the last evening of the season, after a long day traveling. But what a great find. The pork was fall-to-bits tender in a great sauce. Proper, well cooked vegetables. And the brownie with ice cream was perfectly judged. We'll be trying the lunch menu while on the island for sure. ETA: popped back for lunch, sat outside with the sound of waves breaking, great Cullen Skink with cheese scone. Yeah, top marks for The Shore.

Our coffee, tea and cake were all great. Lovely views of the sea and the Holy Isle if you can get a table near the back. Recommended and we'd like to try dinner here some time.

Must be one of the best little eateries on Arran. Repeated visits during our recent holiday did not disappoint. Great coffee and best haggis toastie ever. Even at busiest times (and seemed overwhelming on one occasion) staff kept a gracious and smiling demeanour! Just one more reason to get back on this gem of an island asap!!

What a find and a must visit if you are on Arran. The location is brilliant we sat outside on the decking right by the sea but they also offer tables inside. Dog friendly and also very accommodating staff. They were very busy when we first arrived so we asked about taking away but the lovely kind staff created space for us by adding an extra table outside, top class service that you don't get much these days. The food was also amazing and the lemon drizzle cake is a must!!! Highly recommend visiting this lovely place and there is also a little wool/craft shop nearby to take home some little keep sakes.

BF and I stopped here during our hike for a quick lunch. I ordered the cajun chicken quesadilla and it was delicious! My bf had a sandwich and soup. It was a lovely sunny day to eat outdoors viewing the sea

Simply amazing! Staff made you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. A choice of indoor and outdoor seating! Very pet friendly, even had a dog bowl and biscuits brought to the table which molly our spaniel loved! Coffee beautiful, cakes freshly made and delicious. Had the homemade burger and Cullen stink which were both out the world! Brilliant value for money, and top quality food used. Can’t recommend enough, it’s a must visit!

Lovely cafe serving delicious food with brilliant views out to sea. The guys working there are really welcoming and friendly and the menu has some great choices. The Cullen skink was rich and warming and the mac and cheese was delicious. This was our second visit but I'm certain we'll visit again.

An absolute gem of a cafe with stunning views of Whiting Bay. The food is superb - from a first rate Scottish breakfast (vegan option available) to the best chips I have ever had. The service is friendly and attentive to both humans and dogs. All done in a gentle but covid-safe manner. We've travelled from Newcastle primarily to enjoy this place again. We have not been disappointed.
