Small cafe / bistro in Italian style decor, with a warm atmosphere. The pizzas are unreal. You cannot get better, it's as simple as that. Cooked in a traditional stone oven resulting in a rustic style base, packed with quality ingredients and topped with the best mozzarella. The menu is limited with only a small selection of different pizzas and pastas plus sides but everything they do, they do to perfection. Their award winning ice creams, Italian pastries and sweets are the icing on the cake. A jem of a place.

Been here a few times and the pizzas are just amazing. Full of flavour and the atmosphere is always great. Today there were short staffed I heard one server saying 4 people hadnt showed up but you wouldnt of been able to tell the servers were non stop working hard a real credit to the business. The ice cream queue outside was the longest I've seen it on what must of been the only sunny day during the kids holidays everyone was professional and calm during what could only have been a stressful service. Never had any issues when visiting here and would highly recommend either the ice cream counter or the restaurant as a must visit when in the area

The best ice cream shop in Whitley Bay.
Some fantastic flavours from traditional mint choc chip to snickers, malteasers etc.
There’s always a big queue, but it only takes 5-10 minutes and it’s certainly worth the wait.

Always have plenty of options for ice cream and it never disappoints with the flavors or you could enjoy on the fine selections of pizzas. You can sit in and enjoy it or take it on a walk along the beach.

Too many superlatives for this place. The ice cream has won awards. It's thick, rich and creamy. Flavours abound. Battenberg is a personal favourite. Everyone knows them for their ice cream but they do sit in and takeaway food. Their pizza is incredible. Homemade, fresh and so so tasty.

Having seen a queue here for ice creams a few days in a row, we decided to give it a go - was not disappointed, the ice cream was great! We used the takeaway queue, so can't comment on the inside or hot food but for Ice cream it was certainly a win!

It is one of the best ice cream shops in the northeast. Always a great selection of ice cream flavours, pleasant staff, catering for everyone with their vegan choices, and open later than most places.

Me and a friend went for ice creams a few weeks ago and sat inside. When inside we didn’t realise the pizza and hot food options. So on Sunday myself and two friends went for pizza and ice cream and were blown away. Not only was the pizza fantastic but the ice cream flavours were out of this world.
Even with this fantastic food the service is beyond amazing, I’ve never had such friendly and professional service from anywhere before. The staff are caring, passionate and friendly. If you haven’t been here before you must try it

Recommended by a friend who used to live in Whitley bay as the best place for pizza or ice cream so I popped in today after my walk from Tynemouth. Ordered the Pizza Americano which was lovely with great soft dough and some fries on top. Atmosphere was very relaxed with the bathroom being on the ground floor next to the stairs which was spotless. Highly recommend.
