Brilliant night, always dined in Gulshan but thought we would try the original and we're not disappointed, food ,staff and service were excelent and to say the starters of onion bajis and tandoori mixed grill were better than gulshan is a massive statement and by no means detracting anything from gulshans exemplary menu and service the starters were that good we didn't get photos as we were to busy demolishing them 😃

The lads were absolutely awesome! As front of house staff go they were top notch. 👌
The food was incredible, had to take a doggy bag home as our eyes were a bit too big haha 😄

Really nice and well presented food. Good sized portions.
Try the tandoori platter, we did and were very impressed. Also the staff curry is very good.
Areas for improvement - was disappointed with the chana masala, it was sweet, not at all like I have had before, either in the UK or when in India

Very friendly staff and good service. The food was delicious, I had the chicken vindaloo which hit the spot. Lovely setting with the promenade outside.

Thoroughly enjoyed this place and tried something different. Beautiful setting, great service and great food. I ordered the Chicken tikka Kathmandu and my friend ordered the Maharaja garlic prawns they were delicious and huge. Also if your a fan of pickles amazing lime pickle.

One of the best Indians I have been to. The food is fabulous and the staff are very welcoming. We have been to Whitley Bay on holiday 3 times and each time we look forward to dining here. If you are holidaying in Whitley Bay I recommend a visit.

Found this place on a recent visit and decided to give it a try, and very glad we did. Lovely interior, fab music and stunning food. A fresh and modern menu to most Indian restaurants. Waiters very extremely friendly and chatty. Fab place and will definitely visit again if we are in the area

Tried this Signature North Indian Chilli & Garlic dish with keema Naan and Jal Jal naan one of the spiciest Naan you get in UK. The Naan’s were fluffy and fresh and the 4 course and 5 course meals are not bad. The keema naan has to be more stuffed 2.5/5 Over all it’s a worth of trying. 4/5
