Friendly staff and you can get hot drinks as well as the usual alcohol. Small function room available for intimate occasions.

Excellent service. Family meal. Food was fresh, hot and tasty. Portion sizes were really good. Mince and dumplings was excellent. Service was great. Staff very friendly and food arrived quickly. Great ‘proper’ food!

Had a lovely afternoon tea. Really great value for money and had a doggy bag to bring cake home. Good selection. Lovely friendly staff. Excellent disabled wc facilities if you have a mobility issue. The Cannon is becoming a regular place to visit 🙂

The food is outstanding loads to choose from on the menu. Portion size is really good. Came on a rainy day and had mince and dumplings, never able to eat more than one course meal here. Would recommend booking for a Sunday as it can quite busy. I think it would be nice just to have some background music on in the background
