Had a lovely afternoon tea which was a surprise for my teenage son’s birthday. Found The Vintage Powder Room & Tea Shop on Facebook and made the booking a month before our holiday. Great selection of sandwich fillings and cakes. Everything was homemade. The scones were still warm when served. Boxes were provided so we could takeaway what we couldn’t find room for!
Staff so welcoming and attentive. Atmosphere was wonderful. Beautiful vintage tea set and plates. Loved everything about this place. Such a shame we live 3 hours away! Highly recommend *****

We had a lovely afternoon tea for my 96 year old Aunt's birthday. The staff are delightful, and made a good amount of fuss of the birthday girl!
The sandwich and cake selection was amazing and little extras thrown in that we didn't expect.

THE BEST AFTERNOON TEA! Me and my boyfriend came here for the afternoon tea and was not disappointed! Everything was homemade, the scones were still warm, the cake selection was great and the quiche was definitely the highlight. Definitely worth the money and we will be returning soon.

Visited at lunchtime today, and enjoyed a very fine English afternoon tea. The host/owner is very people orientated, and made us feel very welcome. He also prepared the food with selections of mini sandwiches, scones, cakes, and included other fancies not on the official menu.
He has been there just over 6 years, and worked hard at takeaways furing the pandemic. He does all day breakfasts, lunches and ordinary cakes and drink snacks.
Deserves, and receives good support.

Love coming here, especially for the afternoon tea, breakfast or brunch! Five years ago I had my hen do there such a great experience and would definitely recommend for a event. Friendly and attentive staff and lovely atmosphere. I love the vintage features and decor.

My family treated me to an afternoon tea, for my birthday. Massive, unable to eat it all, so had to take some home for later. Love that I could choose the sandwich fillings and the cakes, deserts and scones. Thank you Vintage Tea Room for helping make my birthday wonderful.
