I've been before and not been majorly impressed but went for a friend's birthday over Sunday Lunch. Roast dinner was actually pretty good, well cooked vegetables and Yorkshire, meat wasn't too fatty. Was very reasonably priced too.

The food here is wonderful, with a varied menu. A lovely atmosphere which suits all ages, thanks to their attentive and friendly staff. Our favourite place to visit in the North.

We came here to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The staff pulled out all the stops to ensure we had a fantastic time. Such lovely people. We can definitely recommend Sambuca’s in Whitley Bay. Thank you Brenda and your great staff.

Never visited a sambuca before and I would say for the price it was decent value. Had the potato skins and cheesy garlic bread for a starter and lasagna for the main. Potato skins were lovely, garlic bread was ok, could've been better and the lasagne was nice. We went as a group of 7, we were served really quickly and the food was served piping hot. Drinks were served really quickly and the staff were really attentive making sure we always had drinks. The consensus was the food was fine but nothing special. For the prices they charge we were happy for what we got. However everyone else in the group agreed that out of the sambucas in the area, percy main and cassia sambuca are much better than here.
