Top fish and chip shop near the amusements and ice cream shops on Whitley Bay front.
There’s a decent outdoor seating area for people to use with plenty picnic benches.
Portions are good and food very fresh.

Me, my sister and Mum went for a walk along Whitley bay beach and we went to Pantrinis before heading home, we had lovely food and service and my Mum said that the fish cake and chips was beautiful and definitely worth the wait, as they take a little longer in the pan. The service was very friendly and we’re happy to hear about our day out!

Lovely place to come and eat traditional fish and chips, good quality fish and the younger brother loved the breast bites.
The staff were very catering for my grandma as she is in a wheelchair and they made space for her while also keeping the shop safe

It must have been very difficult to keep business going following the pandemic and now the cost of living crisis.
We are very fortunate to be able to have the occasional trip out. We decided to try out Pantrini's. We had haddock and chips which were served by very friendly staff who were eager to help us. It being just a tad to cool to eat outside, we decided to eat inside.
It was a bit of a shock our order being served in a takeaway box. The tea was in a paper cup. The meal for two wasn't particularly cheap. The haddock had a tasty light batter and was very tasty.
I understand times are difficult but it is not a great experience having fish and chips in a takeaway box, in a restaurant.

I've eating here a few times I have also had deliveries, there is a buzzing atmosphere in the restaurant the food is always hot and fresh. Friendly and efficient staff best fish and chips in the North East.
