Impromptu visit for a family tea tonight. First time we've been and definitely won't be the last. Food was excellent and great value, staff were very pleasant. Would definitely recommend.
Had an amazing meal today at the hunting lodge, always made to feel welcome and love the children’s area, always keeps my little girl occupied while waiting for her meal. Lovely staff and a great atmosphere.

Went for our Christmas Day dinner. Were made very welcome by all the staff who did an amazing job. The meal was lovely and we couldn’t fault a thing. What more can I say. Will definitely be eating here again. Thank you for making our Christmas so relaxed xx

Visited recently after the refurbishment, staff were lovely and friendly, food was fantastic and steak cooked to perfection. Plenty of choice for children too.

Amazing food and helpful, friendly staff!
Regularly attend the quiz here on a Thursday night and have a bite to eat too. The food is always fantastic and excellent value for money. The staff are welcoming and helpful and the quiz is really fun! Would 100 % recommend.
Deanna served us and was so efficient, getting our drinks on our offer with 02 and then remembered our soda waters and advised us about the golden years offer being available despite the advertisement saying 12-3pm. She explained that it was available all day just the alcoholic drink was on offer between 12-3pm. The golden year melas were just enough to have a small meal.
The Hunting Lodge is a fantastic pub - reasonably priced, great range of drinks and lovely pub food. The staff are all friendly and there’s always good atmosphere; it’s a great place for watching live sport and we love the quiz!
Food good and nice touch with the reservation in the table. However I think you need to visibly inform customers to ring the bell for service as several customers stood waiting for service and didn’t see the bell. A sign on the bar would be good.
Popped in for lunch. Served straight away. Drinks brought to table. Great choice of food and children's menu. Lovely clean place. Great value. Attentive staff.
Went in today with my friend and our 2 kids and the team were so welcoming ! We felt relaxed as it was quiet where we sat , attentive bar team , and brilliant food thanks chefs 5☆
Was only in the function room for a kids party. The bar staff were good though. Brought my coffee up to the room.
Went for lunch, six persons, pleasant surroundings and attentive staff. Food good and drink prices fair. Worth a visit.

The staff were very friendly and so was the manager Michael. The service was very efficient and the food arrived swiftly and was absolutely delicious. We will most definitely be back very soon.
