Excellent customer service. Dogs permitted in the front area only. Great quality food available. Loose leaf teaf. Superb coffee. Amazing story about the owners. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit.

Lovely cafe, much bigger than it looked from outside. The atmosphere was really nice very cosy. We ordered lattes as we had just had a large breakfast but I couldn't resist the sound of the banana bread. Neither disappointed. The latte was really good and the banana bread was very light and extremely tasty. Presentation was excellent, as was the service. We'll definitely be back next time we visit

Food was delicious. I got the sweetcorn fritters which was a special and I really hope they put them on the main menu as they were so good!! Plenty of gluten free options on the menu too

Really enjoyed an early breakfast here looking out over the church gardens before my long journey back to South Wales. Coffee was spot-on and food was light and fresh! Well priced and highly recommended!

A Coffee Oasis. Stunning coffee, prepared with intention and skill. Attentive service and a desire to connect with customers that is a blessing to the lone traveller. As unneeded extra mile, the banana bread and croissants were absolutely top notch. This place is a true gem.

Came in for an brunch as we planned to have breakfast out but many places in the sea front stopped serving at 11:30.
The coffee was great! The food came about 30 mins after our coffee did. It was good but the poach eggs we had were a little overdone so we had no runny yolks. We had really good service despite it being a little slower.
We will definitely visit again :).

It's a cute place for having breakfast and brunch. Quite busy and have enough amount of options on the menu. I ordered a meat breakfast, don’t understand why it is not called an English breakfast. It's a big portion and fairly tasty. Didn't order their cakes but they look nice too.

One of Whitley Bay’s best coffee/brunch spots. Barista’s at Rustic Cup have my appreciation- never have anything less than an exceptional cup of coffee every time I visit. Although quite a small menu, it pretty much caters for anything you have an appetite for. Lovely flavour combinations on every plate, great use of local produce.

Rustic Cup is one of my favourite cafés in Whitley Bay. The food is always amazing, they serve really good coffees, and I love that it's dog friendly. The waffles with fruit are amazing!
The service isn't always the quickest but they do get very busy so it's understandable.

A local friend took us here. What a treat! My food, the Meat Breakfast was amazing with the sausage from local butcher's Nicholson a standout. My friends had coffees and chatted to the owner who was obviously very knowledgeable and passionate about coffee. When we are back in Whitley Bay we will definitely return. Highly recommended.
