Can't beat their chips, best I've had in Kent! We always have to stop by when we are in Whitstable. Dining in can be a little cramped if you pop in during the holidays, but you are always met with friendly, helpful staff.

Great place to stop off for a bite to eat. Food was fresh and well cooked (we both ordered cod and chips). The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Well worth a visit if you're in Whitsatble.

Ok now I have had some good Fish n Chips in my time, but this place has to be the best.
We were recommended by Harriet from the Spacemask company and she was spot on.
We sat in, and I believe it's the only way to eat at this location.
The fish was fresh and beautifully cooked. Chips, crisp on the outside and fluffy in the middle.
Absolutely brilliant and 100% recommend.

Visited today for lunch with friends from my bowls club. We had a plaice & chips, cod & chips & a qtr pound cheese burger & chips and imho everything was cooked very very well. My friends really liked their fish & I thought the burger was great. The chips with the meals were cooked to perfection and the best I’ve had in a long time. Be hungry when you visit Ossies as you get a great size meal for your money.

Was going to chips round to Dock but decided to look around 1st and found this place and I'm so glad I did must be the best chips I have ever had and they don't skimp on the size of portions you get had batterd sausage and chips and a spam fritter the size of the fritter was large had to bring it on a separate plate and the batterd sausage was on top of the chips. I can highly recommend this place for price and quantity.

The best fish and chip place I've had the pleasure of eating. Massive portions for good prices. Great owner and staff too! Also, I haven't been able to find saveloy in Canada so it was a rare treat for me.

Funny to see the shock reaction when we order fish only, no chips. He came back just to check we had all our marbles. The cod was great, cooked perfectly, and if we'd had chips our guts would have been over filled.

This shop is one of the best I ever been to in UK. The staff are so lovely, smiling and helpful and they offered us free chips because we had to wait a bit.
The food is very delicious and authentic. If you every in Whitstable you should never miss it.

We bought takeaway cod and chips and a huge portion of chips on Weds pm. We ate on the seafront and couldn’t have been happier with our food. The chips were well cooked and tasty. The cod was fresh, white and completely delicious. This is the best Fish and Chip shop in Whitstable.
