Being honest, I only use M&S for its Gluten Free, as the next nearest place is Tesco’s, so it’s ideal when shopping in Aldi. Everything else in there is just expensive or in my eyes, over priced. But, on the good side, they do have a good selection of Gluten Free, from bread, buns/rolls, cakes and snacks.

Me and my partner had such an amazing experience today with a customer service gentleman named Steven at Whitstable Marks and Spencer’s at around 16:50 at the self checkout till area. He was extremely polite and lovely to chat with whilst I was with my partner and newborn son, he helped us with using the self-checkout machine whilst being ever so polite with such gentle manners which we both were so happy to have met him at the store, we will always shop at Marks and Spencer’s in hope we see Steven again as he’s a credit to the shop as such virtues and manners are hard to come by so we applaud and congratulate him for being the reason we all left with a smile today. Thank you so much Steven and to Marks and Spencer’s for having such an amazing Staff member.

I loved the service here very helpful , the selections were very interesting. I had the tuna, onion & cheese sandwich with chips and earl grey tea with cream. Children had the ham & cheddar sandwich which they loved. The hot chocolate was high quality very nice! This place was very clean and the ambiance was quiet. I am glad I came here.

Thanks to Nigel & the team at M&S Whitstable for good customer service every time we come. Since lockdown M&S has become our weekend treat to get lots of tastiness :o) - even got a free box of Belgian Truffles the other day - Hussah for Sparks App! Looking forward to Christmas M&S goodies too x

I love Marks. Sadly our Whitstable one is really tiny and a bit low on vegan stuff, and the Whitstable vegan contingent is growing rapidly amongst the young - not the elderly, they'll keep eating meat and having heart attacks. But the fruit and vegetable offerings here are great. Looking forward to an even bigger Marks on this site!

Visited Whitstable M&S Simplyfood. Good hygiene although customers seemed unaware of need to socially distance. Managed to get light up Gin Snow Globes which was reason for visit. Used café and again hygiene good.

Very odd place to have an upmarket food hall. In between two cut price shops. Usually 9/10 empty. Good selection of ready meals. Staff friendly though thry do not have hygene training. Eh I coughs into their sleeve and then handles packets of food? The tellers do

I had a lovely shopping experience in M & S, today. I got every thing I needed and a really nice Gentleman who served me, I think his name was John? He was so pleasant and had a lovely kind face with a warm smile.. When you hardly see ppl from week to week, and feel a bit bogged down with life at times, that person makes a real difference to the rest of the day..Thankyou M & S Kind regards,

The store is well laid out with wide aisles, very light and airy store. It's well stocked and great variety. It has a lovely café which does great light lunches and a good selection of cakes and a good coffee. Staff a friendly and helpful.
