Phoned to book a place for motorhome stopover, landlord answered phone no problem just book in at the bar on arrival. Called in to have a meal later on food was lovely nothing was to much trouble for the staff also it was lovley how regular customer spoke to us and made us welcome. Will definitely call in when passing in the area.

We had an excellent meal in the Narrowboat Inn on Saturday evening, good quality food and a great atmosphere.
We had a medical issue on Sunday morning and needed to get to a hospital a 30 minute drive away and as we were on a narrowboat we needed a cab, the pub were very helpful and gave us 6 cab firms, none of which could help!
Chris from the pub took us to the hospital and came back later to pick us up when we failed to find a cab for the return journey.
They went above and beyond the call and we can't thank them enough for their help and would recommend The Narrowboat Inn wholeheartedly.

Visited this pub on the last night of a 3 day canal boat trip. The setting was amazing and while we only had a few drinks, we were very impressed by the friendly and accomodating service offered by the lovely landlord. Thanks for the cheese 😁
Excellent meals, highly suggest eating here if you go on a narrow-boat. The service was impeccable, just beautiful.

We stopped here for drinks and lunch on a long canal walk. The building and outdoor area isn’t anything write home about, but the food was very very tasty and the staff friendly and very welcoming. Nice place.
Fantastic all round! We stopped off for dinner during our holiday on our narrowboat. The pub is lovely, very cosy and welcoming and we had a delicious meal with great service. Thoroughly recommended.
Husband’s birthday met up with friends, first time visiting the Narrow boat inn , not my last , food delicious 😋 a very good menu , Martin gave us all a very warm welcome , the wood burner stove kept us all very warm . Thank you Martin & chef we will be back
A lovely canalside pub serving good food and utterly, phenominally, excellent beer.
Very friendly service - nothing was too much trouble for them. So good we visited twice on our trip.
