Stayed here for a couple months whilst working away , what a genuinely decent and kind bunch , the locals adopted me like a stray fox lol , plus the ribs are the best I've ever had .

Booked for me by my work, I always give 5 stars: Generally a good stay but on the morning of my stay there was not any staff available to the business in order to provide breakfast. Although marketed as a B&B you do have to pay extra for breakfast and book in advance. The bedding and towels were a bit tired but it was a reasonably clean room. Important context: My experience was a 1 night stay and does not represent this establishment in it's entirety. No-one in hospitality sets out to provide a poor experience. Anyone can have an off day

I’ve been staying a couple of weeks and all the staff have been without exception so welcoming and the owners great making my stay comfortable. The food is great and the rooms spotless and so confortable. I’m staying here coming from Australia seeing my sick Mum and this is British hospitality at its best. I had to change my plans at short notice a few times and they have been so accomodating thank you.

The room was comfortable and clean but a little cold at night. We were in the converted garage but the facilities were very good and clean. Food and Drink was lovely and service was friendly and good.

Fantastic food. Great atmosphere. Lady behind the bar suggested a fantastic drink. Staff are helpfully toilets and lovely and clean service was brilliant. Definitely going to be our local from now on
