Adam and Stacey presented me with a Gluten and Dairy free meal, cooked to order off menu. This atmospheric pub and restaurant is very hard to beat for quality, cleanliness and ambience.
What a lovely surprise, lovely and clean, genuine welcome, and food that just hit the mark.. Banger and mash and Hunter chicken fellow by two chilled Beers.. perfection
Nice clean room, nice pub, cheap beer, located in a quiet village, ample parking. Hotel manager was very accommodating when we had to change our date last minute. Perfect stop for an overnight stay.
12 of us went for a meal for my nephew's birthday, the service was excellent, the food was absolutely first class!! nothing was too much trouble for them the chef even came out to see if we had enjoyed our meal. Would just say that the black forest desert was very disappointing for the pice,it looked beautiful on the plate but there was no substance to it but That won't stop us going again!. I would give a 10/10 for every thing, best about it is its in the village so you don't have to drive, more people need to use it though.
A friendly greeting from the staff and manager into a cozy log fired bar area. There is a great seperate sports lounge fully fitted with screens and games, and shortly to open a fantastic looking restaurant . A lovely pub and well worth a visit.

This pub has changed so much in such a short time. really lovely atmosphere, the food is excellent, and not what you would expect in a village pub. There is a nice selection of real ales which are always very good, and there seems to be lots of things being planned to take it to an even different level.
Really good atmosphere. Friendly staff. Scrumptious food would recommend. Really nice please if you don't want a packed place not saying it was empty just enough.
Dropped in for Sunday lunch and enjoyed it very much. A charming local with a large dining room adjacent to the bar. Great food and service throughout, and good value.
It is a pub on the ground floor and above that is the cottage. We stayed for 3 nights and 3 days in the cottage. The cottage had 3 bedroom, 1 convertable living room to a bedroom total of 8 beds, smart tv was provided in all rooms, spacious kitchen with full amenities. However it had only 1 bathroom attached toilet for the entire house. Breakfast of cornflakes was kept in the kitchen. The place had internet facility. When we reached there it was 11pm on Friday night but the host was quick to hand over the keys to us even it was late. It was a nice place to stay. Would definately recommend. 👍
