We have just spent three nights at this delightful old pub. They have a good choice of real ales and delicious food. The room was nicely presented and very comfortable and we were not disturbed by noise from the pub as the people drinking there were very considerate.

Had a lovely meal this afternoon great food , great service with amazingly friendly staff , gorgeous countryside setting with horse riders riding past a true country side pub with lovely rooms to stay in

Been for Sunday lunch with my husband food was lovely and plenty of it staff really friendly I’d definitely recommend it 👍

Went for a gorgeous meal on Christmas Eve, the pub looked and felt so festive the service was amazing as always and the atmosphere was perfect. We had 4 children with us and every one of us enjoyed our food. Would definitely recommend. Never been disappointed with a meal here and the prices are really reasonable too.

Recently moved to the area and have been looking for local pub grub. Visited for lunch today after reading the reviews and Facebook recommendations. Lovely old building and a traditional pub. Good choice of cask ales and other beers. Extremely friendly and helpful staff and the food is excellent and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended and we'll definitely going back to sample more of the menu.
