Have been a few times for Sunday lunch so decided to come for Mother's Day. The staff are a real credit to this business, so friendly and attentive without being overbearing and worked their socks off on Sunday. Was a 3 course menu for £25 plenty of choice and quality of the food excellent. We all really enjoyed our meals... belly pork and the passion fruit tart absolute winners. I've knocked off a star because when I booked, I asked about the menu and was told it was the usual 2 course £16 and £20 for 3 courses yet wasn't the case when we arrived and wasn't shown on FB or Instagram menus, that being said it was still thoroughly enjoyable.

An incredible meal in a great venue with fantastic owners. I cannot recommend this independent restaurant with its top quality seasonal menu and welcoming atmosphere enough. Rich and Nicola make this place the gem it is.

Just been for Sunday Lunch. Beyond excellent. Food was just beautiful, plentiful, beautifully presented. Waitress was lovely and polite. Warm, welcoming ambience, clean and bright. Could not believe how reasonable the prices were. Have booked for next Sunday. Thank you

What a treat!
We've been trying to get to 450 Above for the past few years, but with the pandemic it's just not happened....
We finally made it today for a family birthday meal and every single person's food was delicious. Service was great with friendly staff and they even catered delicately for some quirky intolerances and picky eaters. All without a fuss...

This restaurant is most certainly worth a visit. The food was top notch and every course was a delight to eat and at reasonable prices. The waitresses were friendly and professional. We enjoyed our evening so much so, we have booked a table near Christmas because we didn't want the restaurant to book up and we miss out. (Shame the banana dessert wont be on the menu..)

Took the family for Sunday lunch..... the food was Devine and the staff very friendly and helpful. Thankfully the bar has been moved which was a big gripe for me as was a waste of space for diners.The owners appear to be having a real go at it fantastic food a very reasonable prices.WELL DONE.

We dined here tonight, 5 adults 2 children. We all ordered food that we'd never tried before, even the children tried the octopus, the partridge and the turbot. Each plate of food had a wow factor. We all had a fantastic dining experience celebrating my daughters graduation. Compliments to the chefs.

This is a very nice restaurant. The food is really delicious. The staff friendly and welcoming. The menu is varied, so whether you want more standard fare like a delicious steak, or something more adventurous and imaginative, you will be pleasantly surprised. We always take visitors there, or we just go by ourselves if we feel like a treat. Recommended.
