What a treat!
We've been trying to get to 450 Above for the past few years, but with the pandemic it's just not happened....
We finally made it today for a family birthday meal and every single person's food was delicious. Service was great with friendly staff and they even catered delicately for some quirky intolerances and picky eaters. All without a fuss...

Had a lovely meal here last night. I literally could not fault any aspect of the food or service. The food was amazing, lovely staff who were very helpful and friendly.
Just been for Sunday Lunch. Beyond excellent. Food was just beautiful, plentiful, beautifully presented. Waitress was lovely and polite. Warm, welcoming ambience, clean and bright. Could not believe how reasonable the prices were. Have booked for next Sunday. Thank you
Have been a few times for Sunday lunch so decided to come for Mother's Day. The staff are a real credit to this business, so friendly and attentive without being overbearing and worked their socks off on Sunday. Was a 3 course menu for £25 plenty of choice and quality of the food excellent. We all really enjoyed our meals... belly pork and the passion fruit tart absolute winners. I've knocked off a star because when I booked, I asked about the menu and was told it was the usual 2 course £16 and £20 for 3 courses yet wasn't the case when we arrived and wasn't shown on FB or Instagram menus, that being said it was still thoroughly enjoyable.
This restaurant is most certainly worth a visit. The food was top notch and every course was a delight to eat and at reasonable prices. The waitresses were friendly and professional. We enjoyed our evening so much so, we have booked a table near Christmas because we didn't want the restaurant to book up and we miss out. (Shame the banana dessert wont be on the menu..)
Nice atmosphere, nice food but a little limited on choice.
Would have been nice to see at least some classic starter choices.
Portions were a little small for my liking.
Although we only ordered small wines they billed us for large, so downgraded on rating for that.
Friendly young staff, who were very helpful so I'm upgrading my rating for that.
An incredible meal in a great venue with fantastic owners. I cannot recommend this independent restaurant with its top quality seasonal menu and welcoming atmosphere enough. Rich and Nicola make this place the gem it is.
This is a very nice restaurant. The food is really delicious. The staff friendly and welcoming. The menu is varied, so whether you want more standard fare like a delicious steak, or something more adventurous and imaginative, you will be pleasantly surprised. We always take visitors there, or we just go by ourselves if we feel like a treat. Recommended.
450above was wonderful. We went there as a party of 12 for my mother's 60th, the staff were cheerful, friendly and accommodating, they were really friendly and helpful. We were expecting long waits for food due to the size of the party, but everything was prompt and hot. The menu was mouth watering, everyone had a superb dish - the roast beef and apple tart were amazing. Two thumbs up, would recommend
Six of us dined here, all of us thoroughly enjoyed the whole evening, the restaurant is quite small and has a select feeling to it. the food was absolutely fantastic, really good quality ingredients, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavour all served piping hot. Will definitely be coming back.
