I took my son and grandson for lunch, on arriving we was met with a very helpful young waiting on staff, we was seated in a lovely place. Plenty of room. We ordered our food and didn't wait long for it to come, it was lovely and hot and well presented, we all enjoyed the food and will certainly be calling back in the future, would recommend the Korean chicken was beautiful, Thank you

Bit of a last minute decision to have a birthday meal out… so pleased we chose The Griffin. Right from walking through the door we were welcomed by Rebecca, seated, and left in the superbly capable hands of Hussein. Food was excellent, definitely a few levels above ‘pub grub’ Well done to all the team… we’ll be back!

We visited here recently for a family gathering. It was so lovely, the pub is absolutely gorgeous and the food tastes so good! We couldn’t believe how fast our food arrived as there was quite a big group of us, the temperature of the food was perfect too, our food taste amazing, there is a lot of options on the menu so the whole family was happy! It’s not often you get an all round great service even the staff were so friendly! Will definitely be back soon!!!

I celebrated my baby shower here in early October and had the best day! This was thanks to the staff who were so attentive, checking that we had enough drinks and ensuring the food was delivered quickly, even though we were a large group. The food was also delicious! Super grateful for making my day so special.

Great service, amazing food, nice style and fantastic outdoor space. I asked to swap the rocket salad to anything else than rocket and theyve done it with a smile, other places are not too happy about changes. Had a great rose spritz, wine was really nice and the after-meal coffee was also great. Our waitress was very nice and the service was top. Will go back.

Really nice little pub, off the main road, lots of parking. Lovely decor and some nice music. Coffee was great, food was very, very tasty and reasonably priced. Very clean inside and dog friendly too (with free water and biscuits) Staff were amazing i have to say, very friendly and helpful. Try the halloumi fries! Best ive had!

Wow, took my breath away, the service in this establishment is out of this world, I took my daughter for some lovely lunch and was welcoming by a polite young lady named Emily. She was bright and bubbly and helped us feel very welcome. Food was amazing also so it was a delightful lunch. 10/10 praise for Emily.

Popped in after a dog walk for some tea and a pint. Was met by Meg who was my main server and Caitlin who also served. I asked to sit outside and wasn't aware it was table service which was a nice touch. Food and drinks ordered promptly. I had the 3 course supper menu which included a chicken and ham terrine to start, mixed grill (slight extra for this) and sticky toffee pudding. All of which were fresh and tasty. Milo the pup also got included and Meg brought him a bowl of vegetables as a snack as I explained he has a sensitive tummy. Pint of Greene King IPA and a Coke Zero plus the 3 courses came to £33. Really happy with the food and the service and Milo enjoyed his veggies. Cheers Meg and Caitlin. See you again soon.

Lovely pub nice and cosy. Food was good and the staff were so lovely and friendly. I am giving it 4 stars only because there griddle wasn't working so there was quite a few things you couldn't order. But I really enjoyed what I did have I had a garlic mushrooms on a crumpet for starter and mushroom and ale pie for mains.
