Lovely little country village style pub/restaurant. Go here every year for our Christmas family lunch and enjoy it every year. Welcomed in to lovely service making sure everything is okay. I have to order gluten free meal and this year they have a menu binder that is just the gluten free menu which is great so I know what I can have in plenty of time. Everyone enjoyed their food and just the right amount so not left hungry. Every experience with the staff I have had has been excellent so thank you for making our Christmas great every year.

Fabulous Mothers Day meal at this amazing restaurant. Most definitely would dine here again. Service and food on point everything is run smooth and professionally. It's a must in a sought-after location.

Food here is really nice. Staff are very friendly. Would recommend trying here only issue was it can be slightly pretentious. I like a roast piled on my plate not in 3 separate dishes. Like I say tastes amazing so do try

Cycled up the hill early one morning. The restaurant was shut, I just sat on the bench outside and ate a banana while waiting for my heart and lungs to resume normal service. The bench was pretty comfortable and the flower beds next to it were well maintained. Can't fault my experience. 5/5

The menu, which in some definitions is rather restricted, the food is amazing. The desserts where limited but lovely. This amazing food does come with a slightly higher than average price tag averaging out around £18 per dish. Positive options all in all.

Absolutely amazing! I don’t eat meat or dairy and they catered to me so well, practically making me anything I wanted from scratch. Recommend this place highly, fantastic food and fantastic service, honestly couldn’t fault it!

Our favourite restaurant, and we had the pleasure of returning again to celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary. As usual the service was perfect and the food was especially good last night! Highly recommend for that special occasion and their mid week menu is really good, and good value! thanks again The High Moor!

I had a steak which was cooked to perfection. My husband had cod, lemon samphire and squid, which was also excellent. The chocolate brownie was gorgeous. I intend to come back for Sunday lunch.

Comfortable surroundings and lovely open fire for pre drinks, admittedly only 1 seating area there. Dining area pleasant too. Excellent service, good choice of menu and nicely prepared quality food at a reasonable price. Always look forward to going to the Highmoor

Just had another superb meal, black pudding potato cake, lamb soo tender and tasty and sticky toffee pudding. Once again great service and great food at a great price, looking forward to our next visit already
