Would usually give this place 5 out of 5 but very disappointed with todays offering.went within 5 mins of opening at lunchtime thinking everything would be fresh and hot.
However not the case.Tasted and appeared to me to not be freshly cooked
Certainly not the usual standard we are used to so only based on todays offering its a 1 star for food
Never use any other chippy as this one is so good.Shame today's not up to scratch

Absolutely fantastic, stagg are very friendly, always made to feel welcome. Food is so tasty, Hubby had fish and chips and he absolutely loved it. My granddaughter had cheesy chips with gravy which she loved. And I had sausage chips and gravy, which was so tasty. The portions were good too and reasonable prices too, Definitely filled our hungry bellies. I'd defy recommend this chippy.

Stopped off the other day with my hubby and little lad who has special needs the staff were lovely and we had the best fish and chips we've had for ages.sat outside in the seating area and he enjoyed every last bit. Will deffo go back soon.

Visited this 'chippy' many times before and rarely been disappointed.this latest visit was no exception but a little different.
This was a sign of the times with social distancing in a longer than usual que in the pouring rain.
Worth the wait though! Lovely fish and chips,and mushy peas - the perfect combination - better than usual I'd say.
Always a popular takeaway,and I can see why.will return again pretty soon.

Excellent food,service and everything inbetween as usual.
The pandemic is seemingly over,and the que was still busy but manageable,For a peak time Friday.
Very pleased with food; fish,chips,peas.albeit slightly smaller portion - but that can only good thing!
