1 of all we wish to apologise to The Poacher as this was our not a place we had even thought about, until we made a last minute decision, and OH MY what a FANTASTIC decision it was.

We used to go to the Poacher every Sunday afternoon for something to eat (this was over 8 years ago) it got a bit loud and rowdy, kids running everywhere so we stopped going. We saw an offer on the board outside and decided to give it a try with our friends, we arrived at 4.30 so it wasn’t too busy.
Visited with my partner and two teenage kids. It’s Lovely local pub, food was amazing and the staff are very helpful. Prices are very reasonable

Had The Poacher Valentine's Menu for our tea this evening. What a treat it was ! The food was delicious and we can't recommend it enough. Such a lovely and welcoming pub we can't rate it enough. Thank you to all the staff.

Been my local for a number of years now and I can honestly say this pub has been turned round by the current management team. The food is always spot on with a great variety of drinks on offer. Would highly recommend this pub to anyone, great atmosphere and lovely staff! Thank you team poacher!
