The best pies in Wigan. They are conveinently located near the bus station. They do all pies and pastries. Small open plan shop. The chunky steak pie is excellent.
Galloways has taken over greenhalgh's in my opinion now. I never used to go too galloways choosing the above.
But there pies/pasties are cheaper and way better and with more filling in them.
Being the home of the Wigan pie this Wigan company with it's main bakery in the Wigan Pier Quarter it's top.
This shop right next door to the bus station is even open early for breakfast and the staff are great.
I was told this was the land of pies! So, surely we had to pick some up! We bought 3 different kinds, and they were all amazing and well priced. I sure do love pies! There was quite a little line for this place, but it went quickly, and we even bumped into some friends we had just finished visiting, in line here too! They live close by, so clearly, we must have ended up at a good pie shop if they went here too! The variety of pies was great and they were tasty!
Galloway's is the best bakery in Wigan!
I've moved abroad now but when I come back I always go to Galloway's for the pies I can't get anywhere else.
Pies, flapjacks, egg custards... Everything here is so good and the staff are always great!
Good if you’re going to get a bus very close and a cut through to the station next to it
I think the staff very friendly and food is delicious bes pie shop in Wigan no one ever close to them
galloways is best pie shop. best for pies anyway, better pies than greggs and certainly better than pound bakery (pound bakery pies kinda taste like catfood) greenhalghs come close and are good in their own different way.
Absolutely a must, best pies in Wigan, served with love from lovely Lancashire ladies.
Even though there prices are very steep, the pies, sandwiches and cakes are lovely. I would recommend to anyone.
