Decided to try Cafe Select for Lunch after rave reviews from Friends , thoroughly enjoyed the fish and chips , vast selection of other meals too to suit most people , Cafe spotless , serving staff v pleasant , will def try again😊
Just walked past and noticed that it was under new ownership, so thought that we would give it a try. The food and service was excellent and the fish was the best we had tasted for years, all fresh. Well worth a visit!
Enjoyed our meals and plenty of seating seems to be popular. Came here due to another cafe being closed although advertised as open. Could do with checking on customers after serving food and treating coffee a little better but happy enough with giving them 4 stars. Won't hesitate to visit again
A firm family favourite! Cant go into town without a trip to Cafe Select! The meals are made with such dedication for a small cafe, and we always leave satisfied. There is a huge set menu with a great specials with tons for the kids to chose from too. Polite, chatty and concencious staff make this our go to cafe everytime!

Good quality, traditional café food at very reasonable prices. The whole establishment appears clean and hygienic and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Also has a drinks license should you wish to indulge in a little tipple with your meal.
Great town centre cafe with a wide range of good quality food. Friendly staff too. My wife and I eat there about once a week.
Very clean and cosy cafe serving very good quality food at reasonable prices. Not the cheapest in town but not expensive. Very friendly staff too makes cafe select highly recommended.

There are three different sizes and all are great value and quality would highly recommend this cafe to all including children the staff are friendly and helpful a big well done 😊😊😊😊😊
