What a fab place, the garden centre is lovely, the food is stunning (I can certainly recommend the meat platter) and the staff are all very friendly and welcoming. The cafe is child friendly too, with high chairs and a nice kids menu. What a great find.

Well worth a visit. There is plenty going on and artwork on display in addition to handcrafted goods, a lovely café, reclaimed materials and of course the garden centre. I cant praise enough the staff who obviously like their jobs.
We visited mainly to eat in the cafe. We had a cooked breakfast which was extremely full hearty and priced at a good price. The plate was full and I had to leave my toast. The garden centre part needs much love and looks sad in places. There's a reclamation area beyond the garden centre (to enter you have to enter through the garden centre.) Car parking is off road.
A lovely little find. The family owned and run cafe / tea room is really good. I can recommend the savoury tarts, I had tomato tart, my partner had a goats cheese and caramelised onion tart. The pastry cases were incredible. The falafel was also top notch and the chips were the best I’ve had for years.
The cakes were wonderful too, all made on the premises, service is very good and extremely friendly. Highly recommended.
They've spent a lot of time and effort getting it ready to reopen and it is well worth the visit. Give it another few weeks for them to embed everything but it is definitely a great start.
excellent service friendly staff great food and delightful cakes. then there's gardens plants flowers and shrubs to look at and buy, again with a nice helpful team of people!
Great salvage & junk, lovely cafe & a selection of plants. Impressed with the upstyled recycling of pallets in the cafe to make tables!
Beautiful food and lovely friendly staff. Great selection of plants. Worth a visit if you are in the area
Under new ownership lovely garden centre and restaurant and cafe and farm shop
This is by far our favourite garden centre. BUT the cafe is amazing! Beautiful home cooked food, so well presented and tastes wonderful. The platters are out of this world the attention to detail is well worth the money. Lovely welcome every time. The shop is great too!
I have been meaning to visit for a long time after camping at a local campsite in Austwick for many years. Garden Makers did not disappoint. The resident chef makes beautiful appetising food, all that we had was delicious. A very interesting place with outside plants and garden artifacts to view/ buy. Thank you.
We had lunch at the Nectar café. Not busy today (midweek). We sat outside under an open sided shelter. Food was exceptionally good. Most of us had traditional bubble and squeak with bacon and a poached egg. Amazingly well cooked and delicious - and very welcome on a cool blustery day. Good coffee. A nice selection of cakes. We were made to feel welcome and the service was friendly and prompt. Highly recommended. Probably worth booking at busier times.
