Got here via a recommendation, and it was well worth it. I loved the homely atmosphere, the service, and of course the food. The halloumi salad was quite the thing. Never thought of citrus, beetroot and halloumi would work together, but it did.

Oh yes. A perfect mid-morning fry up breakfast. Decent sausages... essential, then baked beans accompanying — gotta have that sauce to complement the rest — and finally the option for poached eggs, making it all feel healthy! Excellent. Oh and bought a second hand spices book while I waited for brekkie.

Lovely bookshop and café! It has become my partner and I's favourite place near us. The staff are really nice and went out of their way for my partner's dietary requirements (gluten-free and vegan), even saving a slice of his favourite cake when they saw us arrive. The food is always cooked well and high quality. Highly recommend, and we are so glad to have discovered them!

Had to stop here in honour of brother named: Warren. Good cake. I bought a book. When things go back to normal it must be so great to sit among all those books. 👍

We love our visits ... always made to feel very welcome. Recently extended ... lots of lovely extra space ... I love the fixtures and fittings ... The menu .. everything is homemade .. we tried the double ginger cake ... delicious... definitely a favorite with regular customers. It is lovely to browse through the books as well as the handmade goods. I have been looking for a handy guide to wildflowers ... today I was successful in finding one.
