Got here via a recommendation, and it was well worth it. I loved the homely atmosphere, the service, and of course the food. The halloumi salad was quite the thing. Never thought of citrus, beetroot and halloumi would work together, but it did.

We love our visits ... always made to feel very welcome. Recently extended ... lots of lovely extra space ... I love the fixtures and fittings ... Lovely bookshop and café! It has become my partner and I's favourite place near us. First visit, food good, l am planning a second visits soon. Great being able to check out the books and drinking nice coffee. A good place to go. Took the grand children they loved it

Oh yes. A perfect mid-morning fry up breakfast. Decent sausages... essential, then baked beans accompanying — gotta have that sauce to complement the rest — and finally the option for poached eggs, making it all feel healthy! Excellent. Oh and bought a second hand spices book while I waited for brek
