The pub that everyone wished was their local.
Great food and amazing hospitality from the owners and their team.
Wife and I were visiting for a long weekend and booked a table on Saturday.
The food was that good that we changed our plans to came back again on the Sunday for a roast.
Very dog friendly, owners dog sat downstairs, ours was allowed under the tables and a water bowl was brought.
Can imagine it’s a beautiful pub in the summer.
Thank you to the team for some lovely meals
(The pie was a ‘proper pie’, not just a pastry lid - highly recommend)

Enjoyed a lovely home cooked meal here - chicken and duck mains were juicy and sauces very flavourful. Cosy table by the fire with our dog. Friendly and welcoming staff, would visit again.

Wonderful atmosphere, warm and cosy in a nice rural village. Food was wonderful and inexpensive (I'm from London, mind!)
Only downside NO SIGNAL! And no comp WiFi. Upside, quiet uninterrupted Sunday Lunch!

Great little place. Full of character and really nice staff. Head chef is a gentleman indeed - food was fantastic, will definitely return. Nice selection on the bar too.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch, so much food, couldn't eat it all. Had a good choice of other dishes as well. Would definitely visit again.
