Bespoke Coffee & Dry Goods

4.5 stars! Walking around and craving some coffee we went into a coffee shop close to the Cotton Exchange but had to leave due to them closing early at 5 pm. Came to Bespoke because they were open for longer and THANK YOU for that. Out of many coffee places I have been, and I rarely say that, the caramel latte couldn't have been better. It was absolutely delicious, velvety and rich mouthfeel and had balanced acidity. Only one thing, I asked for extra hot but unfortunately I didn't get that. I prefer very hot coffee /food in general and this one thing is important to me that food / coffee drinks should be piping hot for me. Great atmosphere, lots of seating arrangement and very clean restrooms! I would happily go back again given the chance.

This is a really nice coffee shop downtown Wilmington. I got a sugar free vanilla iced latte and it was very good. The coffee shop competition in Wilmington as you may know or have read about in my other reviews is gnarly. There is a lot of great shops and several are right here downtown. Bespoke has a really nice area to hang out or get some work done on the computer. They also offer their own merch and they sale Gamatui coffee by the bag(see my pics) which has been hard to find here in Wilmington. This is my first time back here in a year or so and I was thrilled to see they have partnered up with one of the best restaurants in Wilmington Savorez to open a breakfast spot right next door. I cannot wait to try that. This is a must try if you are visiting or live in the area.

Stopped by because I needed a break from walking around town and was trying to get some work done real quick. They have different types of drinks available that are interesting and I actually liked the variety that is diff from corporate style coffee shops (i had the lavendar matcha). It offers diff seating areas with one being really cool to just watch and relax at the windows. Fairly quiet inside for the most part and staff were friendly and cheerful. It feels like a very open style concept overall so if you need a quiet place during the day to grab some coffee and get work done, it's a good spot! I can see it being a fun, relax enegery place to visit in the evenings with friends though as well.

I have seen a lot of people post about the atmosphere here, and I totally get it. This is a space that seems to be great for both conversation and productivity. There are a variety of different seating options including outdoors as well. The latte I ordered tasted great and was just the right temperature. They also have ceramics for sale from local potter Steve Kelly, which is really cool! I plan to return the next time I need a coffee fix in the downtown area.

My family and I visited Wilmington for the weekend and the first thing I sought out was a good specialty coffee shop. Bespoke did not disappoint. As a barista myself, I was looking for good vibes and a good cappuccino lol. The baristas were friendly, I loved the vibe of the shop, and they make a mean cappuccino in addition to their flavored lattes. I went more than once and can say they are pretty consistent! I’ll be back :)
